Catamount Energy Corp. Names Robert Kelly to Board of Directors

RUTLAND, VT — Catamount Energy Corp. (Catamount) today announced the appointment of Robert C. Kelly to its board of directors. Kelly is the founder and chairman of CountryWatch.com. CountryWatch is currently a main source of country specific geopolitical information for America Online and Yahoo and provides country information to a diverse group of corporate, government and academic clients.

Kelly has been active in the independent power and renewable energy sectors for two decades, including past positions at General Electric and as chairman and chief executive officer of Enron Renewable Energy.

"Mr. Kelly has a distinguished record of accomplishment and is a well respected senior statesman in the IPP and renewable energy sectors," said Catamount Chairman Bob Young, who is also president of Central Vermont Public Service, Catamount’s parent company. "With the addition of Bob Kelly and James Moore in 2001 as the company’s CEO, we have attracted two of the most experienced and talented people in the non-regulated energy markets to our Catamount team. Getting the right team in place was key to creating value for CVPS shareholders."
