Glebe Mountain This project is located in the town of Londonderry, Vermont on the ridge top of Glebe Mountain. Much of this ridge has been developed into a ski resort known as Magic Mountain. Catamount's potential wind project at Glebe Mountain is in the middle stages of development. The Company has completed many of its environmental studies that are required to file as part of a comprehensive permit application slated for submission first quarter 2006. The Glebe Mountain project is a unique opportunity for Londonderry to help lead the way in promoting clean energy for its citizens and Vermont. Over one year’s time, the Glebe Mountain project could produce enough energy to replace fossil fuel generation that could release more than 75 tons of carbon dioxide, 190,000 pounds of nitrogen oxides and 580,000 pounds of sulfur dioxides. The Glebe Mountain project is consistent with Vermont’s public policy which encourages renewable energy development and Vermont’s image as being environmentally pro-active and friendly.
